LUMiNA is a short and atmospheric puzzle-platformer where you play as a creature of light, capable of possessing inactive golems to traverse a mysterious world. Jump from vessel to vessel, manipulate the environment, and illuminate your path through a series of handcrafted challenges.

This game was developed as the final project for the second year of the Game Development course at Nautilus Academy.

Created entirely solo over the course of 3 months, LUMiNA is the result of a full-stack development effort:
I designed the mechanics, programmed the systems, modeled all 3D assets, and crafted the textures. Every element of the experience was built from scratch.

⚠️ Performance Note:
LUMiNA runs in WebGL and requires Hardware Acceleration to be enabled in your browser. If you're experiencing lag or low framerate, check your browser settings to ensure it's active.

How to Play

Your luminous form is fragile — you can't interact with the world directly. Instead, you must possess golems to move, jump, and activate the world around you.

  • You can only possess a golem if it's in your direct line of sight.
If there’s a wall or another golem blocking the view, the connection is interrupted.

  • If you see multiple golems at once, you’ll take control of the closest one.

What to expect

  • 8 handcrafted levels, each offering a unique challenge.
  • 2 distinct golem types to control, each with their own abilities
  • Environmental threats and hazards that force you to think before you leap
  • A clean, stylized visual direction to highlight the contrast between light and stone

  • Controls

    Jump: Space
    Possess / Release Golem: E
    Activate Lever (Big Golem): Q
